Svetlana Maltseva is a senior associate at Zabeyda & Partners and a member of the Moscow Regional Bar Association. She has been specialising in criminal law since 1996, including as a public prosecutor and a federal judge.
Svetlana graduated with honours from the law school of the State University of Land Use Planning in 1997. In 1996 – 2004, she worked in the public prosecution office, including as a public prosecutor for three years. In 2005 – 2008, she was a judge at Ostankinsky regional court in Moscow. After the completion of her civil servant career, she worked as an in-house lawyer at several banks focusing on safeguarding the business from criminal risks. As a private practice lawyer, Svetlana specialises in white-collar crime defence.
